64 Bit - Help

Hi there, I am a complete newbie to this and I have a 64 bit laptop and when I try to download the latest Python release it comes up as 32 bit. How and where would I find the 64 bit version. Thank you in advance for any help anyone can provide me. Cheers, Toni.
