 Ai DeepNude problematic?
#1
It's funny that that image on left is the "problem" and image on right the "solution".
I guess many men will agree Shifty

Official DeepNude Algorithm
There has already been a lot of problem for the author.
DeepNude Wrote:The original DeepNude Software and all its safety measures have been violated and exposed by hackers.
Python is used a lot in all this new AI stuff.
I guess there be a lot discussion of usage and the legality of this, similar to DeepFake that also cause some controversy.

I wonder how it works on pictures of higher quality... I guess in a few years from now it will become impossible to distinguish the fake image from the real one.

Looking more into this an doing an doing a test,so don't it work so good(low quality) and only with particular images,as the authors also admits.
They did make a GUI with PyQt5,simple stuff upload image from disk button and a transform button.
The GUI version was a Premium payed version, thinking that this would work out okay was probably a little gullibility from authors Doh

The repository's already gone. If someone can upload it somewhere, I'll do my own clone (although I understand there are external data files to download too?)

apparently github banned it (since its now owned my WindBlows that does not surprise me), so all public clones are probably removed at this point. Im sure it will show up somewhere else whenever they find out it was removed. Now that its banned i want it.

EDIT:
Here is the web archive of it
https://web.archive.org/web/201907060028...e_official

These are the only files accessible on webarchive. Why they did not archive the entire thing is what gets me?

.zip   deepnude_python.zip (Size: 58.52 KB / Downloads: 63)

EDIT2: When i ran it, i had trouble installing cv2. pip3 isntall opencv-python works, while pip3 install cv2 does not. Installed the libraries as well for ubuntu sudo apt-get install python-opencv. Still i get a ImportError for cv2.

To be realistic this is a mess legally with no easy solution,i don't think it matter all who own GitHub it will be problematic to host it.
For all we know it could be owner of that took it down,he has gotten a lot trouble for this(as also took money for Premium version).

Some people will to course feed it with picture of children and make child porn with relative ease, use it as revenge if not like someone.
As mention it's just a mess with no easy solution,i am against censorship in all forms, but what to in i cases like this is difficult.

I never mess with sudo or apt-get install as that's not need when use pyenv.
Make a virtual environment.
# Make
tom@tom-:~/Documents/py_files$ python -m venv deep_env
tom@tom-:~/Documents/py_files$ cd deep_env/

pip 19.0.3 from /home/tom/Documents/py_files/deep_env/lib/python3.7/site-packages/pip (python 3.7)

# Install
