This is website that collects ideas on future development of Excel. I don't remember when, but obviously I supported the idea for native support for Python in Excel (i.e. as replacement of/addition to VBA). This weekend I received and e-mail asking to participate in a short survey - you can find the link to survey in the link above if you want to give your 2 cents. At least it looks like MS start to think about it.
I know that there are number of packages that allow Python to work with excel/office. And xlwings and pyxll even allow to execute python code from excel, but anyway native support would be nice.
