Creating ELearning with Python

Even after making my search terms VERY specific I'be been unable to find any elearning module examples developed in Python. While I've seen references to developing an LMS system (which is good news) with it,no matter how specific I phrase the question Google keeps directing me to sites that teach Python. Perhaps useful, but I need to know if courseware, simple through simulations, can be developed with it. I work for the USAF and with coding going out of style in my profession we are left with with very poor development tools like Articulate, Captivate, and the like. Quite useful for some things, but like using a hammer for a tack wrench in other projects.
