Date format

Not true to everyone. I often have to ask my wife what month it is when writing down a date. Im ashamed to say sometimes i do that with the year also. lol

regardless, the order in which they are shown i could care less about. I think textual representation is best for the month as it completely makes it clear which is which, whichever way it is displayed. I personally prefer M (Dec) as it takes less space up though as opposed to F (December).

I think m (12) would be the same problem that started this thread. But in the opposite way. 11.12.2016 to you means dec 11 2016, but to me means nov 12 2016

I see now the date of my laptop is Wen Dec 14, 21:15 :D Funny! But I don't bother for date too much.

I believe so. When I started this thread I was worried about order of information, and whether or not the month is written as a number or a name.

Now I learned, there may also be abbreviations, and even more important: What can you put between information? Space? Dash? Colon? Dot? Mix it all? Fun times!

If you decide for 'Dec' I prefer space

Wouldn't "dec" and "oct" be misleading though? :)

added the option

I changed polls to allow more options
