Even 3.5.4 can not be installed in my Windows 7
#1
Hi all,

I am using Windows 7.
I was trying to install python 3.6.1, but it was not successful.
The popup message told me that I needed to update my Windows 7 with the SP1.

So, I downloaded the 3.5.4 version instead, but the popup message appeared again.
The popup message told me that I needed to update my Windows 7 with the SP1.

It was so confusing that in the Python download page, I could see
this
Note that Python 3.5+ cannot be used on Windows XP or earlier.
but it did not say that Python 3.5+ cannot be used on Windows 7.

Could someone help?

Thank you.

Kitty
