I am new to Python and I'm taking some online python courses. Does anyone have any ideas as far as practice programs to do? The courses are teaching my basic syntax but they don't give projects to do. If anyone has any suggestions for practice programs to do that would be great. Thanks.

Have a look at this site: Advent of Code
Each year there are 2 coding exercises per day from 1st to 25th December.
You can work through 2015 til 2018 exercises and start prepared on Dec 1st 2019
to compete with approx. 70k participants.
