How can I create a Medium mobile app like?

I would like to create a mobile app like Medium (publish articles, follow publishers, etc), although I don't have any idea how to start. I am familiar with python, that's why I chose Python for this project.

Would anybody give me any suggestions? (Tutorials, course, books, etc).
