How to get the probability density function of my data set jpython Unladen Swallow Posts: 4 Threads: 2 Joined: Dec 2019 Reputation: 0 Likes received: 0 #1 Dec-04-2019, 08:45 AM Hi, This is my first post here so please be kind to me I have a data set that is a time-series of stock returns. I am able to plot the probability density function (PDF) using a library such as Matplotlib, however what I really want is the underlying function/formula. Is this possible to get somehow? Surely the plot has used some kind of formula and I just want to see what that formula looks like.
