How we can automate ALM by Python?

I have been asked to automate the ALM ( Testing tool) where we need to carry out the activities of test case creation, test execution, defect logging etc. Currently, we are doing it manually which now looking to automate with python language. If anyone can help the way to do it, that would be a great help.
