Invalid Syntax Error
#1
Hi all,

I am working on a practice script, and I keep receiving an invalid syntax error on my script. Here is the code below. The python hightlights 'newsupdatedrake' as the error:

artist = ["JCole","Drake","Kendrick Lamar","Big Sean","JayZ","None"]
artist2 = ["Blueface","LilUziVert""Young MA","Dave East","YG"]
print(artist[0:6])

favorite_artist = input("Select your favorite artist from the list above:")

if favorite_artist == "Drake" :
    newsupdatedrake = input("Would you like news updates about Drake")
    if newsupdatedrake == "Yes" or "yes":
            print("Thank you for subscribing")
    else newsupdatedrake == "No" or "no":
            print("If you would like to subscribe later you can")
elif favorite_artist == "JayZ":
    newsupdatejayz = input("Would you like news updates about JayZ?")
    if newsupdatejayz == "Yes" or "yes":
            print("Thank you for subscribing")
    else newsupdatejayz == "No" or "no":
            print("If you would like to subscribe later, you can")
elif favorite_artist == "Kendrick Lamar":
    input("Would you like news updates about Kendrick Lamar?")
    if newsupdatekendrick == "Yes" or "yes":
            print("Thank you for subscribing")
    else newsupdatekendrick == "No" or "no":
            print("If you would like to subscribe later, you can")
elif favorite_artist == "Big Sean":
    input("Would you like news updates about Big Sean?")
    if newsupdatebigsean == "Yes" or "yes":
            print("Thank you for subscribing")
    else newsupdatebigsean == "No" or "no":
            print("If you would like to subscribe later, you can")
elif favorite_artist == "None":
    print(artist2[0:6])

when doing an if/else the else part doesn't have a condition its just
