People regularly use docstrings (triple quoted) to comment out large portions of code as well as multi line string literals.

Yes metulburr, and on my case I use them to make "titles" (different color than comments, make it clearer for the reader) for the people (including... Me!) that will have to read it later, and understand it. I've learned it this way, title in quotes and comment with #, but initially i forgot the second, partly because i learned other langages and i tend to mix or forgot details like this ^^

Please stop fighting over something that simple, be kind while responding, not everybody as 10years of python behing him/her :)
