the script works, i was just using it wrong and thought the script would scan my inbox for email addresses then add them to a folder called employment. Instead, it scans the folder called employment. thank you for your help!

that was first thing I told you in my post#5

Actually it is looking for folder EMPLOYMENT in your mailbox and should search emails in this folder.
