Hi everyone,

My name is Diego and I am 36 years old(just another IT guy).
My first PC was an Intel Pentium 133 with 128 Mb ram on 1995.
I wrote one mIRC script on 98' and started as a computer technician at that time.
Got my first IT certification in 2000, graduated a few years later and working as an IT professional since then.
Now I am trying to learn Python to automate all repetitive work as possible.

Sorry for my bad English. :)

Hi,
my name is Francesco and I'm an Italian IT student.
I've just started studying Python (my first University year) and I found it to be really interesting.

Hi.

I'm currently trying to learn Python and I think that taking part in a community is necessary in order to really learn anything.
I probably won't have much to share at the beginning (I'm kind of lost, actually), but I guess I'll eventually get there.

Thanks.

Hi everyone:

I am a dad. I have had my kid do a bit of coding when he had been interested when he was 10 yrs old. He started a tiny game and stopped. But, he had some basic concepts down (he made a character that could move on the 2d screen and jump).

But he has lost interest for now.

Anyways, I am here because I know a bit of python and i am going to post a job for soemone on the job board (I have to become a user to do that)

My ad for the job will be:

[Job to convert JS fragment to Python]
Hi:

Pay: $100 to $200 for one time small code block conversion (should be so simple if you know JS and know bitaddress brain wallet):

Back story: I used Brain Wallet from bitaddress.org which is Open source: https://github.com/pointbiz/bitaddress.org I made a wallet that has $1000 in it. I remember the fragments of my passphrase, but I need to use a Loop to iterate the variations to find my wallet.

Job: Just convert the BRAIN Wallet portion of bitaddress.org into lines code of Python
[I don't even care if you use PyExejs to do this (I am so bad at JS that I don't even know how to do that). But if you use PyExeJS, I may need to consult you on the pip install of the right libraries.]

Thank you.

Hi,

I am Amedeo and I recently started attending a course for python with finance, I have no coding experience. I must admit that the course itself is very hard, even though I have a strong desire to learn to code. Hopefully, I will learn more with you guys.

Thanks a lot

Hi, I'm robgraves.

I studied Computer Science and IT-System Administration in college and now work as an IT Specialist for a healthcare organization. I've done a lot of coding in college in C and some Java. I've dabbled a little in Python, but now I feel like making a concentrated effort to really dig into Python. Looking forward to it. Cool
