yO , simple stupid question . Can i use open3d on Python 3.8 version ?

You can usually find out by visiting the PyPi page (if there is one)
for open3d that's here: https://pypi.org/project/open3d/
On that page is says 3.7. but not 3.8
I tried installing on 3.8, but not successful.

and apparently 3.7 now also. what breaks in 3.8 exactly?

For windows there is wheel for 3.8 on Gohlke.
pip install open3d‑0.9.0.0‑cp38‑cp38‑win_amd64.whl
