Could it be that you are after:
http://www.py2exe.org ? py2exe.net is down for me as well, and "isitdown" websites say the same.

I am just using it because I have problems making pyinstaller to bundle files into an exe. As i saw then comparing exe size and thinks like this it bundled the images I wanted but it does not find them...
