for an OS in pure Python, i do assume the existance of module(s) with C code to allow access to an underlying OS, if there is one, or access to physical devices. that or assembly code.

i'm going to have to back to that video when have 32 minutes and 56 seconds of spare time. looks like something i want to do on cloud instances.
