It's completely normal that after 2020 a lot of people or companies still will use 2.7.
It's the same as with those old programming languages that almost no one is learning anymore but in use because of running programs with millions of lines of code and no one can port it to some more advanced language. I will not be surprised if few companies take the support of v2.7 after 2020.
