PythonistaCafe
#1
Hi guys, does anyone participate in this community (forum)?
How would you rate it (1-10)?
I think it is a good thing, but it will be nice if someone from there tell us about it.

Had not heard of PythonistaCafe before you mention it.
Quote:PythonistaCafe is built on a private forum platform,
where we ask questions, get answers, and share progress
Looking at it there are a stuff i do not like at all.
Closed Forum, Paid community, Membership Screening Dodgy

That said i watch stuff from Dan Bader before,
he has okay contend also new book(Python Tricks).
The PythonistaCafe is not for me,with reason as mention over.

I am not (nor have ever been) a member of their community, but my opinion is much like that of snippsat.
Closed community with paid membership is quite in contrast with Python's core philosophy. Bluntly put, to me it is simply one of Dan's commercial products. Besides, I can't see how any other Python forum community could be better than python-forum.io (personal opinion!).

And again I agree with snippsat - Dan Bader's free Python content is nice. I also got his Python Tricks book when there was a good HumbleBundle Python books deal.
