I'm gathering up resources as I'm getting into automated testing of Android apps using TestComplete, scripting in Python. While there is some material out there, I'd like to see if the community has anything I've missed. Material in the form of books (physical or digital), tutorials, and web pages. Stuff I noticed that's out there:
--Smart Bear's own site (the company that created and maintains TestComplete). They have APIs, and other reference documents
--a few YouTube videos on this
.
Not as useful as I'd hoped for:
--I tried looking for books at Amazon for one. The books seem to be a combination of: outdated, or not specific to the subject. Specifically, they're about TestComplete, but do not seem to be focused on the Android side of things
--Not a lot on popular sites like Stack Overflow, although like with any other question, it couldn't hurt to post code samples and ask about them
--some of the YouTube videos are low-res, making them kinda useless
