Saved Programs

Programs are automatically saved to User Directory four levels deep.
How can I specify a more accessible location?
No snickering at my simple question; I am a beginner.
Python 3.7 Win 10

I am using PyCharm editor to create programs.
How do I tell PY or PyCharm where I want to save programs?
