Split pyscaffold project into packages locally

Hello,

I'm new to python, more into devops, need to split our project created with pyscaffold https://pypi.org/project/PyScaffold/ into packages that can be later reused / imported in other projects. I'd need a best practice for it, searched a bit and found different approaches, don't understand which one to use. Can I build this package locally and reuse them? How would this be achieved?
