Stop getting personal message everytinme someone replies to a thread

How can I stop receiving personal messages every time someone replies to a thread ?

Go to top left corner, User CP. In the menu on the left-hand side there is section Subscribed Threads. You can manage your subscriptions from there.
Also, if you use New Thread button (i.e. Full Editor) instead of quick answer editor when you reply - there are radio buttons and you can select to not subscribe for this particular thread.

In addition, again in User CP left-hand side menu, there is link Edit options. From there you can select Default Thread Subscription Mode - no subscription, no notification, e-mail notification, PM notification
