Suggestions Needed For Free Hosting Services for my non-Django App
#1
Hi Guys, First post here(used to be a member of the old forum tho)

I have created a few twitter Bots(3 actually) using only tweepy. But I am actually stuck on how to host these Bots so they run 24/7 since I cant keep my pc on 24/7 all year long. plus my internet connection very poor.

I did some Google search and most of the answers suggested Heroku. But it seems my app needs to be associated with Django(thats what I think from what I see). I dont even know Django.

So I am here asking for suggestions on free Hosting Services for my Django-less app.

Welcome back!

Have you taken a look at this? If you're required to use a web framework, you can just have a hello-world project that runs your bot in a background thread or something. That would require a bit of learning on your part but I don't think it'd be too bad.

Thanks alot micseydel. Interestingly enough, I co-incidentally visited that page(your link) after posting my problem here.
I have actually settled on PythonAnywhere.com
But I will also try your other suggestion.
Cheers!
