I have been programming for 50 years (since 1968). I have heard about Haskell,
but haven't so much as opened the cover to examine the language. Looks like that will have to change starting right now!

I'll play a bit more later, but my enthusiasm is way down. It took me many years before I got serious about Python, especially after I had such a long romance with C and C++ (may still use it on certain things, like enbedded systems). I think Python will be number one for a long while. My impression (with my exhaustive experience) on Haskell, at least to this point, cute, but not for me. |
