What's the error you're getting?  Please share the entire traceback.

File "C:/Users/Personal/AppData/Local/Programs/Python/Python36/os.chdir().py", line 3, in <module>
os.chdir(path)

>>> s = 'c\u'
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "<interactive input>", line 1
SyntaxError: (unicode error) 'unicodeescape' codec can't decode bytes in position 1-2: truncated \uXXXX escape
For path in Windows never single \ because of escape character.
Turn all around / is a simple way to fix it and remember.
 >>> s = 'c/u'
>>> s
'c/u'
