Programmer named Tim is a user title based on how many post a user has made, see the following link topic.

I don't know if gravatar is supported with out a plugin being installed, someone with knowledge of the forum software will have to answer that one.

gravatar works out of the box from MyBB.
I can assure you its working as my image is from gravatar.

Recheck your email address in the forum linked with your gravatar. As well as log into your gravatar and recheck your settings and main image, etc.

OK i figured it out.  it is the boring "mm" image. it is working but i was expecting to see the "identicon" image (as seen on stackexchange sites) which i suggest using.

also: i used to have a programmer working for me whose name is Tim.

One of the developer contractors at work was named Tim. The system he designed was horrible, but he got all my jokes.
