Hm! Good for the Windows users to have bash on their system. I have an experiece with PowerShell on XP. Bad one.
I am wondering if I install Windows on my laptop whether I regret. Just to test .py scripts on Windows

i have ubuntu linux on my laptop.  if i needed to do somthing on windows, i'd run it under a virtual machine.  then i can make a snapshot of it and restore the snapshot for a consistent test situation.
