#'ing out several lines in Atom

#'ing out several lines in Atom

I use Atom text editor, which seems to be familiar with Python when I save a file as .py .

Is there a way to highlight several lines of code and insert a # in front of each line all at once? I've seen this done in some videos, but I don't know how they do it.

select the lines and use Ctrl+/
