woah. Why are you telling pip to update itself? You're using apt specifically so you don't need to do that. And what's up with all the time logcmd stuff? Are you trying to fry my mind while I try to figure out what's going on? lol

it is plausible for pip or pip3 to have newer versions available that the ubuntu crew has not adopted.  i regularly see messages of newer versions available.  it has not been working .but i have not had some time to pursue it.

i regularly do important commands under logcmd so i get a historical log of it.

yes, frying your mind is my other hobby.
