which PyPI to use for file and directory operations?

Please help suggest which PyPI can be the best for the purpose below:
I want to create a graphic UI, there's a button to find a correct path, then read the files information in that path. then I can create some ways to modify the files' names on the interface. Then I can get a statics data on the interface. ..., ....
