@other admins
Wouldnt this be a nuisance regarding the free certificate?
Is a free certificate really free, or is there hidden cost?
I don't think it's because of the free certificate. The error description is SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN requested domain name does not match the server's certificate. For me it's not a problem to allow exception, but for new users this could be a problem.

EDIT: Just to add that I'm able to open the forum with Chrome on my mobile and also with Opera on PC with warning that some insecure content has been blocked.
Thanks all for working this issue!  Cool

I had the same thing happening. I think it was because I tried to access https://python-forum.io/ but the certificate is for www.python-forum.io - see https://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-certificate-errors.html for example explanation

Exactly the opposite - now I tried to access python-forum.io and everything is OK. when I try to load www.python-forum.io - I get the error.
my bookmarks is as www.python-forum.io so I assume that explains it.

Check out https://letsencrypt.org/ - Its main aim is to be free, so that everypony can encrypt their webservices forever now.

They have a crowdfunding going if you'd like to donate their efforts
