That is definitely an approach that works. I would like to at some point get a hieght restriction. But at this point im just happy with the fact that the syntax highlighter works at all.
A simple hack that might work easily is to wrap the python code tags in spoiler tags if the text within is X characters long, and or X number of newlines, etc.
But im not going to bother at this point.

Yes only minor stuff to fix now,and is very rare that someone post so long code as

Shall look into removing vertical and horizontal scroll bars.
Removed vertical scrollbar.
