Software Test Engineer - Test Automation (m/w/x) - at the location Ulm, Germany
In your function as a Software Test Engineer (m/w/x) you work within the automated test environment for the infotainment headunit system. Your area of competence varies from planning, designing and
developing features for the test automation framework. You feel familiar to create and design automated test cases on different levels (module, subsystem or system) and to test the results directly on the hardware. Furthermore, you will analyze test failure causes and support development teams debugging the problems for the device under test. As our infotainment test units are linux-based, you should be experienced in working on linux OS. We create and work on further development of our test frameworks and test cases in Python, so you should be a professional in programming in Python.
What we expect from you („must have“)
• You have a profound know-how and experience in software testing (test case creation, test execution,
• methods)
• Professional experience in programming with Python are on an excellent level
• Work experience with Linux based systems
• Your experience with test frameworks/packages/modules und test specification is on a good level
• Excellent english skills, both written and spoken
What we are looking for (“nice to have”)
• Knowledge of C/C++ is an advantage
• It's a benefit if you already worked with Android OS
• Experience in automotive sector, especially with infotainment systems or head units and its
• specifications would fulfil your profile
