Full Version: Windows/VBA on at work, Linux+Haskell (and Python) on weekends

Hmmm, it looks like Python guys are well educated Cool
I have been programming for 50 years (since 1968). I have heard about Haskell,
but haven't so much as opened the cover to examine the language. Looks like that
will have to change starting right now!

Well I did 2.5 minutes of the 5 minute tutorial ... I'm done for now, not
impressed. I'll play a bit more later, but my enthusiasm is way down. It took
me many years before I got serious about Python, especially after I had such
a long romance with C and C++ (may still use it on certain things, like enbedded
systems). I think Python will be number one for a long while.

My impression (with my exhaustive experience) on Haskell, at least to this point,
cute, but not for me.
