Recently (past few days), google changed the entry widget on their home page.
Used to be that there was a magnification glass icon which when clicked on would search for item.
Now there is an X which when clicked on clears the widget.
If you never clicked on the looking glass in the past, this won't effect you.
In my case, I always used the magnification glass, so I am constantly deleting the contents of the widget, and I've been doing this for so long that habit is going to be hard to overcome.
I read up on this, and apparently, if you use Chrome, this doesn't happen.
is this aggravating anyone else besides me?
Seems like it's kind of sticking pins into anyone not using the Google browser!
