I have not thought about that yet,
the only think i am very sure of is no extra "Tutorial Submissions" thread in each forum.
If thread not fit in sub thread Tutorials is better just to move it to where it belong.
I like the tutorial submissions as the only way users can post tutorials. Some regular users post some dumb tutorials that shouldnt be there.

That more work on the mods.

Why dont we just leave it all in the tutorials forum, and just tag via prefix what it is about then. Now i am rethinking....cluttering up the forum with tutorials seems not like a good idea anymore.

The biggest problem I find is people seem to think it is a place to post links to their personal (blogspam) tutorials.  If you do have a useful python link it belongs in the "Useful python links" thread; not in tutorials.

I swear on the previous forum almost every single submission was like this.

Yeah, I would prefer we didn't make a bunch of tutorial subforums in all the other forums. I don't mind a few subforums in the main tutorial section (if it is really necessary) but honestly it probably isn't.

I think is better to just move thread if that happens it will be very little work,
it's not like there will many tutorials in eg Web Development(2) or Networking(0).
We could just remove the tutorial submissions sub forum altogether and make tutorials admins and mods post only. Then if someone wants to post a tutorial, or someone makes a good tutorials, admins and mods can just move it to tutorials.

Now starting to get a picture of what it looks like with sub forums, i dont like it. I change my mind. I would rather leave it all in one forum...tutorials. If you look at the tutorials in the old forum....they were not posted that often. And there wasnt enough to merit sub forums for each category anyways.

There are 4 we are thinking of:
GUI, Game Development, Networking, Web Development(made a test here).

I hope it will be more tutorials here than old forum,i have plan for many in Web Development.
I think they would be better under Web Development-->Tutorials than all spread in one Tutorials thread.
Same with your Pygame tutorials i think would fit better under Game Development-->Tutorials.
I made a "test" of pygame sub forum within the tutorials. I think this solution is better. It helps declutter the forums of sub forums all over and keeps all tutorials together within the same parent forum.
If one want to track all the tutorials he/she have to feed the rss with bunch of links. Which is not a big deal after all

Yeah look okay.
Shall we let stand as it for some time?
Or if all agree just use your last solution.
