[Windows 10] This isn't even a coding problem. I've installed python version 3.7.4 in order to use TensorFlow in a piece of software that provides an interface for it, but that software does not recognize python as being installed. I used the Windows x86-64 executable installer on the official website and added Python to PATH, though I installed the directory to C:\Python to avoid admin problems. I verified that Python was properly in my path and was able to use several python commands in order to install required libraries for tensorflow, but when I simply type "python --version" into cmd or powershell I get no output. This, according to the developer of the software I was trying to get this to work with, is why it is not being recognized.

This problem is hard to search for online since I'm NOT having the 'not recognized as a command' problem, and I really haven't found anything on this topic and don't know where to ask, given that software developer told me little more than "I have no idea how to solve this problem." Apologies if this post is not suitable for this forum.

This also outputs nothing.
You can also try python3 -V
