I am trying to instal xlsxwriter on a windows platform (windows 10 home

I have

installed

A simple python program works

I have experience of xlsxwriter at work on a linux platform by am far from a sytems person.

help please what do I do??

it's clear that python is the issue - If I try python alone in this Gitbash window i get permission denied
if I try to chmod 777 or +x on python permission denied

But I just tried to write to the c:/ directory on this PC so I suspect that this windows build does not have admin priv for my username

Just tried to post an image it didn't appear

I seem to have a windows permissions issue - I'll fight that first
