For me it's more like "You free the princess. You look at her. You put her back in the castle because she doesn't look pythonic enough."      

Or maybe... "You write an algorithm to free the princess. You free the princess, and anything and everyone that acts vaguely princess-like. The prison is now empty."

You look on PyPI. You find dragonslayer, castleinvader, but only an ancient savebrownhairedprincess that was never migrated past v2.4 and the princess is blond anyway. You weep.
