Could I kindly petition for an adoption of a MySQL/MariaDB sub-forum for the site?
I think it would add value; I am learning MariaDB and would post threads sharing my learning experience with screenshots. I will for the meantime post in Data Science unless directed otherwise.

We are restrictive about making new sub-forum,so there will be no sub-forum for MySQL/MariaDB.
Sub-forum often create more job for Mod/Admin to move Thread to right forum.
Use
General Coding Help that it mix of all kind of question,and the forum that most people look at.
Also as with your question there are often serval parts eg web-scraping(that has own forum) first not just a MySQL/MariaDB question.
