Hi all, I'm new to the forum and wanted to hear from others who have careers in python. I currently work as a sysadmin and recently started getting back into coding and I forgot how much I enjoy it. I have done a little bit of coding here and there over the years but didn't start getting serious until about 2 months ago. I'm currently working on two projects. A django web application and a socket client and server program.

I've been considering possibly trying to slowly transition into web development and had planned to show my two projects to hiring managers once I complete them. I'm also learning some frontend JS. My question to others who currently work as developers:

How long have you been a developer?
Do you still enjoy it?
If you could go back and do it all over again, what would you change or learn first before applying to jobs?
