Full Version: Finding a job as a Python Developer

I'm currently a PHP/JavaScript full stack developer and I am looking to transition to being a backend Python developer. I have about 3/4 years experience so far. I've been doing a lot of Python I my spare time recently and I would say I'm reasonably proficient. Would I face any challenges going for Python roles now? Is there anything I can do to help me stand out?
Now, I cannot speak others, but when I was hiring, if you had a good understanding of a language other than the desired language, I would almost always accept that in place of the required qualifications, I'd be willing to expect there would be a learning curve for the target language.
Others may not feel the same, nevertheless go into the interview with a positive attitude, certain that you would quickly learn the new, and you might just convince them to make an exception!
