What is with the archive prefixes? And why are these threads in the general tutorials forum?

This forum was suppose to be for general tutorials. They should both be meged into this thread

It doesnt make sense to split out tutorial request threads into the gen tutorials. Then people have to go around them to find real tutorials.
Fixed. Nothing of mine that shouldn't be there is there any more.
I didnt mean to remove the sticky resources thread. Just the posts that were split off into their own threads in the gen tutorials. It just seemed to not fit that there were archived tutorials requests threads inside the tutorials list of threads.
The list of python resources is not a tutorial and does not belong in the tutorials forum.

Its a list of tutorials. Why would it be in general codeing help?
You can maintain the list now, copy it from http://www.python-forum.org/viewtopic.ph...6506#p6506 and re post it.
Why are you getting defensive?

The only thing i was referencing to was the fact that discussions about what to add to the list of refs were split into their own threads among tutorials. By that pattern, there would be eventually more archived threads in tutorials than tutorials themselves. And they were not tutorials, but basically community opinions about what should/shouldnt be on the list of refs.
The resources thread was your thing. If i wanted to take control of it i would of merged the split threads into the one thread myself. But i wanted to discuss it, thus the reason i didnt.
