Hi all

What is the meaning of BASH in linux ?

Thanks
Elico
It is just the name of a shell interpreter (the most common one on Linux systems). See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bash_(Unix_shell)
BASH (released 1989) was a free replacement for the Bourne shell, and
I think initially it was Bourne  Again SHell.
