I am really beginning my journey learning python and I have some basics down but I am having trouble thinking what to create to practice and where to continue learning more and more at a beginner level -> intermediate. Mostly tutorials introduce you to the language and then leave you hanging is there anyone I can talk to or somewhere anyone recommends for learning python long term.

If you feel like you've got the basics down, I highly recommend you answer questions on this forum, or find others to help another way. It's a good way to keep yourself warm until a good project comes along.
