Appropriate Conduct
We ask that you conduct yourself civilly when speaking in this forum. A wide variety of people come here and you may inadvertently offend someone. When posting realize that children as young as 8 years old are on this forum learning Python too.
  • Swear words are asked to be kept to a minimum
  • Insulting people directly or indirectly will not be tolerated. This includes using vulgar language to reference someone's code, consistently being rude, sarcasm, or the tone a post is written. This all can be misinterpreted as being insulting.
  • Trolling will not be tolerated. This includes but not limited to: disrupting conversations, accusing and insulting, twisting statements, crazed misinterpretations, and antagonizing.
  • Harassment based on religion, ethnicity, race, country of origin, gender, income, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, etc. will not be tolerated.
  • Sales pitches unless approved by forum staff
  • Insinuating. "you [should] know all the advantages of..." Making wild claims and then saying something along the lines of "but you already know that" makes people feel dumb for not knowing it, so they don't bother looking for alternatives, they just accept it as fact.
If you feel anyone has broken these rules, please report them to an administrator or moderator.
