Pyside2 - darktitan - Aug-08-2018 I have been thinking of switching from Tkinter to Pyside2 now for a while. But i cant understand the License thing with Pyside2 is it free or not? Or do i have to pay a fee if i want to sell my program. or how much freedom do i have with it before i need to pay for something? RE: Pyside2 - nilamo - Aug-08-2018 It's licensed under LGPL, which allows for commercial use at no charge, as long as you also offer the source of pyside2 if you've modified it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GNU_Lesser_General_Public_License RE: Pyside2 - darktitan - Aug-08-2018 (Aug-08-2018, 06:02 PM)nilamo Wrote: It's licensed under LGPL, which allows for commercial use at no charge, as long as you also offer the source of pyside2 if you've modified it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GNU_Lesser_General_Public_License Ok. What do you mean with "offer the source of pyside2 if you've modified it" is it my applications source code? |
