Do you mean hashing? From what I can tell the whole point of encryption is that it's reversible under the right circumstances.

I am not sure how to encrypt the password before saving. I'm still very new to programming as it is. I am willing and open to constructive criticism. As a matter of fact I welcome it for it makes me better as a whole. How would I go about learning to learn toward password encryption.

If you're new to programming, you may not know about the python PyPi.
PyPi is a repository of software for the Python programming language. You
can search through almost 100,000 packages to see what is available for you
to install and use. You can find it here: https://pypi.python.org/pypi
Usually, after you have searched and narrowed down your choices, you can
bring up individual pages on each package.

On that page, you will find information about the author, which versions of python
are supported, links to the package website, as well as full package downloads.

Most packages can be easily installed with pip.

I'd suggest that you start here, and search for password encryption. Look at those
with the highest weight first, but don't discount others that are lower on the list.
A good indicator of what else to look for is the date it was placed in the repository.
If it's old, and has a low weight, it probably means you shouldn't waste time playing
with it. If new with a low weight, it may be excellent, but you're taking a gamble.

Enjoy
