Is there such thing as an international python qualification or certificate? - SteampunkMaverick12 - Feb-26-2019

I am a young person in the UK who wants to have a job in the IT sector. Is there an internationally recognised qualifications or certificates for Python or any other programming language where I can take a course in a language and come out with a qualification for my CV.

Speaking as someone in the US (silicon valley specifically), there's no common / standard certificate or qualification other than a college degree. I've even noticed a negative correlation between Java certifications and interview performance.

The best thing you can do is have projects on Github and link to it on your resume. I always look closely at Github links when I get them - most of the time, they're not impressive, so you do need more than it just existing.
